Our commitment

We’re committed to making comparemedicalsoftware.com accessible to people with disabilities. We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards across the site and treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a finished product. If something on our site gets in your way, we want to know about it.

Standards we follow

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The specific practices we apply across the site:

  • Descriptive alt text on all informative images
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation with no keyboard traps
  • Sufficient color contrast (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Resizable text up to 200% without breaking layout
  • Form fields with proper labels and clear error messages
  • Logical heading hierarchy (one H1 per page, ordered H2/H3 flow)
  • Skip-to-content link at the top of each page
  • Mobile responsive at all common breakpoints
  • No auto-playing audio or motion that can’t be paused

Known limitations

Every site has gaps. Here are ours, honestly:

  • Some third-party embedded content — including the 360Connect quote form and video embeds — may not fully meet our standards. We work with these vendors to improve coverage where we can.
  • Older blog posts may not yet have full alt-text coverage. We’re auditing and updating these monthly.
  • Not all PDF documents are tagged for screen readers. Where feasible, we provide native HTML alternatives.
